Akabo Media – publisher of City Transport & Traffic Innovation Magazine – has confirmed that its flagship US conference on road funding and tolling innovation will return to Miami, Florida on 18-19 September 2025 as the Road Pricing Summit.
Taking place at the Hyatt Regency Miami, the summit brings together senior public and private sector stakeholders to tackle one of the most pressing transport finance challenges in North America: how to transform declining gas tax revenues into sustainable road funding and transportation infrastructure solutions.
Reflecting the diversity of funding tools under discussion – from tolling and congestion pricing to mileage-based user fees (MBUF)/vehicle miles travelled (VMT), gas taxes and dynamic pricing – the new title offers clearer alignment with the terminology used across the Americas.

“Our goal is to bring together the right people – from public agencies, industry and research – to address the urgent questions around how to pay for roads in a way that is fair, effective and future-ready.”
