France has become the latest European country to be covered by the toll payment system from Tolltickets, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kapsch TrafficCom.
This means that with the purchase of a single toll box, drivers can now use the road network in 15 countries throughout Europe.
“France represents a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing customers with a great mobility experience,” said Quentin Couret, managing director of tolltickets.
“Because we believe mobility is a right for all, our intention is to bring an easy-to-use, reliable, and affordable mobility solution for all in Europe.”
Tolltickets’ contactless toll technology can be used by passenger cars, transport companies and professional fleets alike, providing solutions for B2C and B2B customers.
What’s more, Tolltickets has unveiled a new web-based platform that serves as a resource for all toll-related information.
Featuring a new design and simplified navigation, the platform provides details about tolls to simplify journey planning. It also features enhanced customer support with a 24/7 telephone hotline.
