Intelligent transportation systems (ITS) provider Tattile has announced the release of a new automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) software for tolling purposes.
Part of the TKH Group, Tattile announced the release of Stark OCR Cloud designed to complement Tattile’s embedded neural OCR capabilities.
Reportedly, the software is capable of achieving up to 98.5 % plate-reading accuracy by offering enhanced recognition power.
This ensures that the ANPR software can handle complex license plates with varying fonts, syntax or colors, while still delivering reliable results.
Beyond license plate recognition, Tattile’s systems are capable of detecting and interpreting ADR (Accord Dangerous Routier) plates and identifying vehicles transporting dangerous goods, which enhances overall safety and compliance monitoring.

To meet differing customer requirements, Tattile offers Stark OCR Cloud either as an on-premises deployment—so organisations can run it in their own controlled infrastructure—or as a fully managed SaaS model.
Built on a training base of more than 10 million images and designed to be resolution-agnostic, Stark OCR Cloud supports integration over REST APIs with third-party systems such as tolling platforms, access control, traffic management and smart city infrastructure.
