Acclaimed British stand-up comedian Lucy Porter has been announced as the special guest host of CiTTi Awards 2025.
A familiar voice on BBC Radio 4 and a regular on popular panel shows such as Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, and QI, Porter brings her signature wit and warmth to audiences across the UK. She’s also a firm Edinburgh Fringe favourite and a seasoned performer on the stand-up circuit.

In addition to her stand-up and panel show credentials, Porter co-hosts the hit podcast Fingers on Buzzers and has presented documentaries and features across radio and television. Her sharp observational comedy and quick-fire delivery have made her a much-loved figure in British comedy.
Described by The Scotsman as “delightfully effervescent” and by Chortle as “charmingly sharp”, Porter will bring her keen comedic insight to the fourth annual CiTTi Awards during a live ceremony at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in central London on 25 November 2025.
Previously hosted by the likes of Andrew Ryan and Jo Caulfield, the ceremony will be attended by 200 of the UK’s leading transport professionals from local, regional and central government and other place stakeholders – including landowners, developers, and business improvement districts – and their project partners, such as architects, planners, contractors, and technology companies.
Guests will be greeted with a drinks reception held in the Balmoral Suite ahead of the winners being announced within the impressive surrounds of the Grand Hall, which features arched ornate ceilings, beautiful wood-panelling and dramatic chandeliers.
Currently open to entries, this year’s CiTTi Awards boasts 29 new and improved categories split across six parent groups to help aggregate kindred innovations, schemes and sectors in an easy-to-understand way.
The deadline for submitting written entries is Friday, 22 August 2025. The shortlist will be announced on Wednesday, 3 September. Shortlisted entries will then be judged by an independent panel of experts from across the British transportation industry – via a series of online interviews – the week commencing Monday, 6 October, ahead of the big reveal on November 25!
