Autonomous vehicle technology company Oxa has introduced the autonomous Bradshaw T800, an electric tow tractor driven by self-driving software.
Capable of towing up to eight tonnes and designed for continuous operation in complex environments, the T800 seeks to deliver safe, efficient and scalable solution for ground logistics.
The T800 was designed to alleviate labour shortages in the logistics and manufacturing industries, with the vehicle able to operate indoors or outdoors, day or night, across airports, warehouses, manufacturing plants, distribution centres and campuses.
Features include fire safety integration, which moves vehicles clear of danger zones during alarms, and dynamic zone management, giving operators control over speed limits and restricted areas.

Oxa also stated that operational flexibility is built in as fleets can switch between autonomous and manual driving, while remote monitoring enables a single operator to oversee multiple vehicles from any location.
Joint managing director at Bradshaw EV, Drew Bradshaw, said: “Our collaboration with Oxa is about bringing together our vehicle platform with its cutting-edge autonomy software to create something truly transformative.
“The autonomous T800 is the first result of this, forming a solution that directly addresses real-world challenges – from labour shortages to the demand for more efficient and sustainable operations.
“It’s a significant step forward in industrial mobility, and we’re excited to see the impact it will have.
