The countdown is on – there’s just one month left to submit entries for this year’s CiTTi Awards, with nominations closing at 5pm (BST) on Friday 22 August.
Now in its fourth year, the CiTTi Awards – organised by CiTTi Magazine – celebrate the public- and private-sector organisations enabling clean, safe and efficient movement of people, goods and materials through UK towns and cities.
Shortlisted entries will be judged in October by an independent panel of experts from across the British transport sector, with winners to be announced during a live ceremony at London’s De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms on Tuesday 25 November.
This year’s event will be hosted by acclaimed British stand-up comedian Lucy Porter, a familiar face from Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, and QI, as well as a voice of BBC Radio 4 and co-host of the hit podcast Fingers on Buzzers.
Described by The Scotsman as “delightfully effervescent” and by Chortle as “charmingly sharp”, Porter will bring her wit and warmth to a room of 200 guests drawn from local, regional and central government, place stakeholders and project partners across the UK.
Supported by category sponsors APCOA Parking, Marston Holdings and Aurora Insights, CiTTi Awards 2025 will feature an expanded 29-category line-up, structured across six parent groups to better reflect sectoral trends:

Last year’s winners were announced during a glittering gala dinner on 26 November at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London, hosted by acclaimed Irish comedian Andrew Ryan.
The ceremony brought together 150 professionals representing more than 100 organisations and recognised achievements across 20 categories. Watch the highlights:
Reflecting on the success of last year’s event, CiTTi Magazine deputy editor Reuben Henry-Fellows said: “Last year’s awards were our biggest and best yet, with record entries, new categories and a packed room celebrating outstanding work across transport and infrastructure.
“For 2025, we’re scaling up once again with more categories, more judges and more finalists. More chances to shine!
“As ever, we’re seeking entries that show real-world outcomes, innovation, cross-sector collaboration and measurable success. If your project is making a difference today and shaping the cities of tomorrow, we want to hear about it.”
The deadline to enter is Friday 22 August 2025. The shortlist will be announced on Wednesday 3 September, with judging taking place via online interview the week commencing Monday 6 October.
