The South African National Roads Agency and Department of Transport have agreed to make representations to the Gauteng provincial government e-toll review panel. Transport minister Dipuo Peters will face the panel to correct any distortions about the tolling system. The climb down is seen as a subtle acknowledgement that the government may be losing the public relations battle against the anti-toll campaign.
