APCOA have been providing parking enforcement and associated services across Northern Ireland on behalf of the Department for Infrastructure (DfI).
The DfI contract spans 10 years and has been in place since the 1st of November 2025.
The successful mobilisation is a result of eight months of planning and marks a move into the central government sector.
APCOA is collaborating with an extensive supply chain from private landlords to operating partners such as JustPark, Yunex, UTS, GSLS and TES.
Approximately 160 members of staff will patrol local routes from one of APCOA’s 19 regional bases, delivering a strong operational presence.
APCOA regional MD UK&I, Kim Challis, said: “We are delighted to be embarking on this partnership with Northern Ireland’s DfI, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to every one of our supply chain partners who have made this complex and extensive mobilisation possible.”
Achievements and innovations in smart parking will be recognised and celebrated at the fourth annual CiTTi Awards on 25 November 2025 at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. Visit www.cittiawards.co.uk to learn more about this unmissable event for the UK’s transportation sector!
