Electric vehicle (EV) chargepoint operator Zest has installed 18 charging spaces a new site in Edmonton, London.
Situated on Fairfield Road, the 18 EV spaces will run at charging speeds of up to 300kW.
Zest’s EV charging network in London now includes sites with Hackney Council, Brent Council, and TfL.
The news comes after the UK Department for Transport announced a new Electric Car Grant scheme worth ÂŁ650m and a ÂŁ63m programme to expand Britons home charging options.
Enfield Council cabinet member for transport & waste, Rick Jewell, said: “This is an important development for Edmonton as we continue to support cleaner, more sustainable travel.
“Reliable access to ultra-rapid EV charging is essential to help more people make the switch to electric vehicles.
“These new charging spaces on Fairfield Road provide the kind of infrastructure our community needs to be part of the transition to a greener future.”
Achievements and innovations in EV charging infrastructure will be recognised and celebrated at the fourth annual CiTTi Awards on 25 November 2025 at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. Visit www.cittiawards.co.uk to learn more about this unmissable event for the UK’s transportation sector!
